Live
Dr. Greta Kirlienė, Dr. Robertas Kirlys
Effective interdisciplinary planning and communication between clinicians optimize outcomes and increase treatment efficiency. But how can truly effective collaboration between the orthodontist and the restorative/prosthodontic doctor be achieved? How can complex cases be successfully completed? What mistakes may occur during treatment and at the finishing stage, and how can they be prevented?
During this course, you will learn about:
- The treatment workflow of moderate and complex cases, the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration, and the significance of comprehensive treatment planning from the very beginning.
- Common mistakes that may occur during treatment and at the finishing stage. We will discuss the importance of preparatory treatment, guided implant placement, the design and materials of temporary implant crowns, and practical solutions to avoid or manage these complications.
- Prosthetic rehabilitation after orthodontic treatment, including finalization of clinical cases and potential nuances that may arise. Special emphasis will be placed on the differences that must be considered when restoring patients treated with aligners, brackets, or hybrid orthodontic approaches.
