Predictability levels: know what to expect

Five predictability levels have been implemented to help you assess the complexity of each patient’s initial malocclusion.

Basic case (Level 1) – extremely predictable case that can be solved with a small number of aligners, up to 10 aligners.

Standard case (Level 2) – a very predictable case that requires up to 20 aligners.

Advanced case (Level 3) – predictable case that requires more than 20 aligners.

Extremely difficult case (Level 4) – limited predictability case that requires a hybrid treatment approach to improve control and outcomes.

Impossible case (Level 5) – adult patient with skeletal malocclusion requiring orthognathic surgery, or patients for whom treatment is not recommended due to biological restrictions. Limited treatment might be evaluated.

Each patient case, before proceeding to treatment, will be labelled with one of the following predictability levels.

These levels give you a clearer understanding of each case based on clinical complexityrequired auxiliaries, and expected movement accuracy

They help you save time, reduce replanning, choose the most effective strategy from the start, and communicate confidently with your patients.
