The course will start with the diagnostic workflow and the management of Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD). <br><br>Furthermore, the expansion of limits of clear aligners will be addressed by means of the use of braces sectionals, power arms, cantilevers and other auxiliaries. <br>The speaker will explain basic concepts regarding anchorage and a general introduction to different TADs and TAD positioning. The use of mini-screws for different malocclusion will be presented, with special regard to appliances for palatal expansion.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Course Topics:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Diagnostic workflow in Adult patients. How to manage periodontal disease and TMD problems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The role of auxiliaries in aligner treatments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Biomechanics of elastics and auxiliaries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Introduction to mini-screws<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clinical uses of inter radicular mini-screws.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Extra-alveolar mini-screws.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Introduction to palatal anchorage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clinical uses of palatal anchorage on transverse, vertical and sagittal malocclusions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MARPE vs SARPE.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Failures and troubleshooting when using skeletal anchorage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This course will be held in&nbsp;<strong>English<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please be informed that the event may be photographed and filmed.
