Ordoline invites you to join a comprehensive course led by Dr. Saulius Žukauskas and Dr. Robertas Kirlys, focusing on both surgical and orthodontic perspectives in the use of mini-screws.

What you will learn:

Philosophy and biomechanical aspects of mini-screws.
Safe zones and unsafe anatomical areas when planning the use of mini-screws.
Clinical and radiological preparation for mini-screw insertion.
Use of interdental, palatal, and aligner mini-screws.
Threading of mini-screws in models corresponding to real clinical situations.
Model-threaded mini-screw loading systems: clinical application of elastic chains or brace segments.

The Speaker

Dr. Robertas Kirlys

Gyd. Robertas Kirlys yra gydytojas odontologas – ortopedas – ortodontas. Jis baigė studijas Vilniaus Universiteto Medicinos fakulteto Odontologijos institute (2006 m.) bei odontologijos studijas Ernst Moritz Arndt universitete Greifswalde (Vokietijoje) (2004 m.). 2006 m. Vilniaus universiteto Žalgirio ligoninėje atliko internatūrą. 2008 – 2012 m. ortodontijos rezidentūrą - Vilniaus universiteto Žalgirio klinikoje. 2014 – 2016 m. ortopedijos rezidentūros studijų programą baigė Vilniaus universiteto Žalgirio klinikoje. Nuo 2018 m. dirba Vilniaus implantologijos centro klinikoje. Yra Ordoline academy mentorystės programos vadovas. Nuolat skaitantis paskaitas ir vedantis praktinius mokymus bendrosios praktikos gydytojams ir gydytojams ortodontams apie gydymą kapomis bei šio darbo specifiką. Gyd. Robertas Kirlys nuolat gilina žinias įvairiose konferencijose bei mokymuose. Gyd. Robertas Kirlys yra vienas iš daugiausiai patirties turinčių specialistų, gydančių pacientus tiesinamosiomis kapomis.

Dr. Saulius Žukauskas

Dr. Saulius Žukauskas completed master's studies in dentistry in 2015 at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences. This year he also did an internship in the clinic of the Vilnius Implantology Center. In 2018 Saulius completed oral surgery residency at Vilnius University. During 2016-2020 he was Doctoral student of Vilnius University. During 2015-2019 he worked at VŠĮ Vilnius University Hospital Žalgiris clinic in the consultation polyclinic, Oral surgery and pathology sub-department. In 2017 he did an intership at San Carlos University Hospital in Madrid, Spain. PhD thesis defended in September of 2021. Saulius is member of the Lithuanian Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, member of the European Academy of Osseointegration, member of the Association of Maxillofacial and Plastic Surgeons of the Baltic States.
